Tried three different Thai restaurants. This was the best Thai restaurant in Kauai, 5 stars judging from Seattle standards. Best veggie tofu pad Thai, tofu summer rolls with peanut sauce and tofu curry. Tofu was very fresh and well marinated. Really appreciated that they opened on Christmas.
Service is wonderful! The food was fresh and delicious! Very accommodating to our one picky child (no food can touch - likes food plain). The papaya salad was incredible! We ordered sushi rolls (Big Monster, Hot Mama, Hot Scallop), Pad Thai, Crispy Garlic Chicken and no one was disappointed - their food is fire! We topped it off with fried ice cream and fried banana with ice cream. Our plain princess was able to just get a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We all left full and so happy we stopped here! Great last meal for our 3 generation trip.
Was skeptical at first walking in here, I usually don't trust when places combine different countries’ cuisines. I can't speak to the sushi, but they advertise ‘authentic Thai’ so we went that route. It did not disappoint, some of the best pad Thai and curry I've had in awhile! And very good prices for the island!
Found this place on Yelp. Walked in at about 7:30pm without reservation. Plenty of seating.
Ordered the following:
Salmon sashimi - very fresh tasting
Salmon avocado Roll
Unagi Lava Roll - my new favorite sushi, very yummy
Okinawa Sweet Potatoes Tapioca Pudding - too sweet for my taste
Thai Iced Tea - nothing special
Our group was a little disappointed that there’s no Sticky Rice since they ran out of mango. Food came out fast. Ample Parking on the side of restaurant. They don’t serve any alcohol, but the serve staff suggested that we can buy any alcoholic drink outside and bring it in the restaurant while eating.
Food - 4 star
Service - 4 star

9 of us had a great feast here. The place is BYOB and we sure brought our own B. We'll be back the next time we're in Kauai.
This place was great! I came with my family on Christmas Eve and we were seated immediately.
Good:
- Huge portions! I liked my bowl of pad see ew with chicken; it filled me up a lot. Great flavor as well
- I liked the tom kha soup that I got - it wasn't too heavy and it made me super excited for my main entree!
Bad:
- A simple casual place! They have decent wait times, but they are a little short-staffed and a family owned business.
Overall I liked the food here and the staff were really nice!
Needed a sushi 🍣 fix and we have never tried Big Monster Sushi & Thai before. We'll have to go back to check out the Thai food, but sushi was on point!
We got 4 rolls: Samurai roll, Hot Momma roll, Spider 🕷 roll, and unagi roll. We also had the crab 🦀 fried rice 🍚 😋 and green tea.
My only complaint is that the seating for 2 was quite small. And for people like us that tend to order alot of food because we like trying different things. There just wasn't a ton of space to maneuver. But outside of that, we really enjoyed our dinner.
Things to know... they don't serve alcohol. We spent $98 + tip.
Definitely worth checking out for some good sushi. 👍
Pleasantly surprised with the food and was a great find for our last meal on the island. Started with Shrimp tempura and spicy miso soup (must have). Then I ordered the ‘Thai Hot’ spice level for my Drunken Noodles and had throughly enjoyed it. My partner ordered Crab Fried Rice and finished it all by herself. We ended our meal with Sticky mango rice and it was sooo yummm 😋
